Health Promotion Strategies
Using the Intervention Mapping Approach in Taking a Best Practices Approach

Home

Welcome to my Health Promotion Strategies course! We will be addressing the many issues and decisions related to how to take a "best practices" approach in health promotion practice.

This site tries to provide students, and prospective students, with answers to as many of their questions as possible. It provides a comprehensive introduction to course goals, objectives, schedule, expectations and course assignments.

In this way, it should help those considering taking the course in deciding whether to take the course, as well as providing a clear road map for students who have decided to take the course.

In addition, complete information is provided concerning required and recommended readings associated with each week’s class. In most cases, URL links are provided, allowing (University of Toronto) students to go directly to assigned readings and other resources.
